If This Was Print . . .

Posted On June 27th, 2017 By lbucklin

There should be a process in place within your organization by which content is conceived, created and approved. If this was printed material, there would already be a process in place.  Just because it’s digital doesn’t mean you don’t need to have a procedure to follow.

If there is a well though out plan to flow fresh content on a regular basis, your displays will be better received by viewers. Onlookers would not be bored with stale content and that means a far better Digital Signage effort!

A good content process will include a schedule that has dates for content to be changed and refreshed. Some organizations make updates daily or weekly, but we recommend updates at least once a month for major images and backgrounds.  In some deployments, it may be useful to rework screen layouts to challenge the viewer a bit.

TIP:  Plan It!

Create a written process that details the when, who and how of generating fresh content for your digital signage.
