As Digital Signage becomes more mainstream, we are challenged to create a visual environment that accomplishes the intended mission of the project. Plopping screens on the wall is fine for basic projects, but if you want to make a bigger splash, you need to think outside the box.
Today with little extra effort or cost, screens can easily be integrated into large or small video walls. For the cost of an extra screen, a Mom & Pop operation can have a mini video wall that will get added viewer attention because it doesn’t physically look the same as other Digital Signage.
You can see a good example we did here. On a recent European trip I even saw an array of screens mounted at a forty-five degree angle. Don’t try this at home unless you have a content expert on hand!
Another cost effective way to add “zing” is to have a custom enclosure created. Something as simple as a plywood painted board can enhance the screens impact instantly.
TIP: Think Outside Box!
Seriously, think of using an outside the screen enclosure or mounting treatment.
