Technical Services Lead

ConnectedSign is a full-service Visual Communications company specializing in software, hardware and creative services for Digital Signage Systems, Video Walls, Interactive Displays & Kiosk Networks.  We provide Visual Communication solutions for Corporate, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality and Retail facilities.

The Position:

This is not a basic IT position.  This is something different!  In this position you will work directly with CS team members and clients assisting with software and hardware demonstrations, training, software/hardware technical support and project implementation.  The ideal candidate enjoys staying up-to-date with technology, understands Windows operating system and thrives in a customer-focused team environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, teamwork, troubleshooting, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.  You will receive training on the digital signage software.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote or onsite software & hardware installation, technical support and training.
  • Configuring networks to utilize external data sources such as SQL, XML, HTML, Maps, etc.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to software and hardware.
  • Respond to phone and email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Communicate project status to CS staff and clients to ensure tracking to timelines, budget, scope & quality for all project deliverables.
  • Project installation and support follow up.
  • Maintain in house computers and systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year degree from an accredited University, College or Technical School.
  • Experience working with PC/Media Players, Commercial Displays, Broadcasters, Cables & Connectors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, PCs (Windows and Mac).
  • Software and hardware sales experience a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously (various ranges of complexity).
  • Ability to be a self-starter, take quick direction in a fast-paced multi task-environment.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly and be able to demonstrate the software and train effectively within 3 months.
Digital Signage Graphic Designer & Sign Builder

ConnectedSign is a full-service Digital Signage company specializing in software, hardware and creative services for Digital Signage Systems, Video Walls, Interactive Displays & Kiosk Networks.  We provide Visual Communication solutions for Corporate, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality and Retail facilities.

The Position:

As a member of the creative services department, our designers work directly with clients to design templates and schedule content for static, dynamic and interactive (touch-screen) digital signage.  This position requires excellent project management and customer service skills, attention to detail, teamwork, troubleshooting, and a desire to inspire clients to channel their ideas into functional signage that suits each client environment best.   You will receive training on the digital signage software.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to determine the creative look and functionality for the digital displays. Communicate through telephone and email dialogs.
  • Work collaboratively with Creative Service team members to design, layout, assemble, test and remotely deploy digital sign(s) and mobile apps.
  • Provide remote or onsite training to the clients on how to use digital signage software to upload graphic images and other content to the displays.
  • Configuring digital signs to utilize external data sources and databases (i.e., SQL, XML, HTML, Bing Maps, etc.)
  • Communicate project status to ensure tracking to timelines, budget, scope & quality for all deliverables pertaining to creative design and development of interactive content. Client follow-up is essential to successful deployment.
  • Assist with client support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year associates degree from an accredited University or College with a certification in one of the following areas: Graphic Design, Digital Design, Web Design or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator are a must).
  • Knowledge of web design to include HTML and scripting.
  • Motion graphics and Interactive Media knowledge for mobile devices & emerging technologies.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously (each project ranging in complexity).
  • Experience working with software applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, take quick direction in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly and be able to train effectively within 3 months.
