Digital menu boards are revolutionizing the dining experience for restaurants and guests alike. Digital menus allow restaurants to keep even the most extensive food and drink menus current by updating them on the fly from a central library of options. Advertise specials, pull items that sell out, change prices and more without ever touching a printed menu. Digital menus save staff time making corrections and communicating changes and save diners the frustration of ordering something that’s no longer on the menu. They also allow guests to peruse the menu at their leisure and order the moment they’re ready. The result is a smoother-running restaurant and more sales.
Digital Menu Boards also provide opportunities for offering advertising space to local businesses, providing a possible new revenue source. In addition, they save printing costs and de-clutter tables and other areas of your restaurant.

Spooky Nook Sports is the largest indoor sports complex in North America. Spanning 700,000-square-feet, it provides playing fields and accommodations for more than a dozen sports – all under one roof. Additionally, Spooky Nook offers a family fitness center, climbing center, food court, sports apparel store, arcade and meeting/event spaces. The complex has recently expanded to include The Warehouse Hotel and the Forklift & Palate Restaurant. With such a diverse complex, Spooky Nook needed help aiding visitors in wayfinding, showcasing directories, displaying menu boards and providing various sources of critical information to guests.
Working closely with Spooky Nook, we developed multiple formats of digital signage that would be showcased throughout the complex. Interactive wayfinding kiosks point unfamiliar guests in the right direction. Menu boards efficiently scroll through food choices and are frequently updated with new options. Video walls showcase highlights from past events in an eye-catching high definition display.
In order to create a digital signage system that covered all of the areas Spooky Nook sought to address, a variety of hardware was required, including digital billboards, digital menu boards and digital kiosks. Our ability to customize the best possible system meant we could provide everything needed. Our hosted software package included content creation and ongoing support, so we can insure that Spooky Nook’s system will grow to meet future needs as the complex itself grows.
As Spooky Nook continues to grow, they continue to reach out to ConnectedSign for their changing digital signage needs. We continue to work closely with Spooky Nook employees to provide them with:
