Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community Connecting a Retirement Community

Challenge

Quarryville Prebyterian came to us looking for digital signage solutions for their public eating facilities within the facility. Looking to promote their Cafe and Bistro’s seasonal, weekly and daily food specials, QPRC asked for a system to help showcase a variety of dietary options available for purchase. QPRC sought to have a system that was easy to update and maintain. They requested to be able to feature holiday announcements or special events within the facility.

Solution

ConnectedSign worked with QPRC to develop branded templates that hosted a variety of information. For the QPRC Bistro restaurant, we created two vertical signs that showcased both a seasonal menu as well as a daily special. The daily special region included a space for an image and caption to further describe the special. This sign also featured the local 3-day weather forecast, time and date. The QPRC horizontal Cafe sign featured a static seasonal special section and a daily special section (which included a prominent photo region with subtitles with prices). This Cafe menu was also branded with the QPRC logo and 3-day weather.

Results

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community was founded more than 60 years ago by Reverend Franklin S. Dyrness. Dryness had a vision for his aging, senior church members to be able to live in a community where their quality of life needs were met and exceeded, and where they could grow and thrive by using their God-given gifts to glorify the Lord. From this initial vision, Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community was born. Today QPRC continues to thrive and grow as it serves the senior community by encouraging spiritual growth and healthy living.
