Digital public signage is transforming user experiences in stadiums, museums, parks and zoos. It’s lighting the way for travelers in airports, train stations and visitor centers. It’s capturing viewers’ attention in bus stops and lobbies and dining areas. Digital signage in public areas can serve many purposes simultaneously, providing maps, advertisements and important information while providing a prominent space for emergency notices and other official announcements when needed.

With a student population of over 1600, Harvard Medical School sought an interactive digital signage system that would showcase the curriculum and services that they offer, as well as provide vital information about student services, alert the campus community to important bulletins, and provide directions to help those unfamiliar with the Medical School Building find their way around.
ConnectedSign designed a digital signage system that made it easy for an individual to navigate the building and understand where they were going, while also displaying all the other services that Harvard has to offer. Interactive displays which provide real-time data allow folks to find the information they are looking for quickly, and can rely on that information being current.
By taking advantage of our Managed Solutions package and our Hosted Software, Harvard gave us the reigns to begin with. As they become more accustomed to the system and the community feedback continues to be positive, the school community can shoulder more of the day-to-day management of the system and we will provide more of a consultative role.
Since there was such a positive experience with ConnectedSign, Harvard has decided to expand their project to be more than just the Medical School and will go campus-wide at some point
