Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF)

The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) functions as a separate entity within the U.S. Department of Justice. It serves as the focal point of the Attorney General’s initiative to tackle transnational organized crime and diminish the presence of illegal drugs in the country through a prosecutor-led, collaborative approach to law enforcement. OCDETF utilizes the resources and knowledge of its partners to conduct intensive, coordinated, and prolonged investigations into transnational organized crime, money laundering, and significant drug trafficking operations.

Challenge

We initially ran into a challenge on how to display calendar events. The client went back and forth on whether they should integrate with office 360.

Solution

We discussed the implementation of a cloud-based table and how users can effortlessly input events and dates. Meanwhile, the backend software analyzes the data and displays the relevant meetings for the day.

Results

A simple and user-friendly cloud table where users can input the meeting room number and meeting time. The application will display only the meetings for that particular day. Once the day concludes, the details will no longer be visible, but they will refresh for the following day.
