Tips Tricks & General Knowledge About Digital Signage
So you have an LCD on the wall, Big Deal...
As Digital Signage becomes more mainstream, we are challenged to create a visual environment that accomplishes the intended mission of the project. Plopping screens on the wall is fine for many basic projects, but if you want to make a bigger splash, you need to get outside the box a little bit.
Today with little extra effort or cost, screens can be integrated into large or small video walls. For the cost of an extra screen a Mom & Pop operation can have a mini video wall that looks different and will get added viewer attention because it doesn’t look the same physically as other Digital Signage.
Another cost effective way to add Zing is to have a custom enclosure created. Something as simple as a plywood painted board can enhance the screens impact instantly. You can see a good classy example of this on our website at: (http://www.connectedsign.com/about_case_benjerrys.html). On a recent European trip I even saw an array of screens mounted at a forty-five degree angle. Don’t try this at home unless you have a content expert on hand!
TIP: Think Outside Box!
Seriously, think of using an outside the screen enclosure or mounting treatment.
