Viewers understand that a digital medium is different than print. They expect to look and see certain items on Digital Signage. Time is an overlooked feature that many viewers expect to see.
In one deployment users asked that Time be added to the content of their Digital Lobby Sign even though it was hanging on the wall next to a large analog clock! I think maybe they didn’t trust the analog version.
TIP: Time Works
Add the time in a prominent area and maybe date too if the design allows.
