(Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA) . . . August  14, 2009:  ConnectedSign, a leading integrator of Digital Signage systems has announced the availability of a professionally managed Digital Signage option for it’s customers.

Brigitte Bucklin, ConnectedSign Vice President says: "We have already been doing all the administration and content management for many of our customers and decided to offer the service as a packaged solution.  Some customers don’t have the resources to manage a system or just want their Digital Signage to have the best possible graphics and functionality.  Now for a small monthly fee, they can tell our traffic department what they want and it will get done automatically.”

The ConnectedSign Managed Solution runs on the most robust media player and software platform available.  It supports the playback of all types of media, even real-time data links are an option.  Customers can chose what and how often their screens are updated and they even have the ability to make small changes locally.

How it works: content changes and requests are submitted to the ConnectedSign traffic department via email, fax or website form.  Once received the traffic team generates any additional content and then deploys the new content and schedule information directly to the customer’s players.  As part of the Managed Solution, direct data links can be made from data source such as an event management system or even an Excel spreadsheet.
